Town Hall meeting with Nelson Mandela of South Africa and Ted Koppel on ABC Nightline (1990)
This show was the first visit of Nelson Mandela to the USA, after he was released from prison. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years for his activism against South Africa’s Apartheid system. Nelson Mandela made us all proud because he held his ground and eloquently explained his positions and that of the African National Congress (ANC).
